About

The Frankenmuth Jaycees are part of Junior Chamber International, the world's premiere volunteer organization for young professionals. The Junior Chamber of Commerce (more commonly known as the Jaycees) was founded in 1915 by Henry Giessenbier Jr. as a social group for young men. In 1984, the organization began to allow women as part of a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Since 1961, we have offered members the opportunity to get involved and help create a better place to live, work, and play by using our skills and resources to organize community fundraisers. Proceeds from all of our projects, like the World Expo of Beer and Jaycee Race Series, are donated to charitable causes or go back to building our chapter.

Members are between the ages of 21 and 40, and are brought together by a love of community, philanthropy and skill-building projects. Membership does not require a sponsorship or application.
